Further continuing the five piece 7” single series that started with SOR002 Return Of July by Rotaug's own Kompact, this release once again comes with a digital download card and a postercover that waits to be combined with the preceding and the three releases yet to come to result in a final 180x84 cm full-size poster designed by Rotaug artist Exidas. It is strictly limited to 500 copies and, of course, handnumbered.

On the A side, DJ Kompact is going international again by working together with U.S. based rap duo 215 The Freshest Kidz consisting of members Cerebral Vortex (S.A.) and Buddy Leezle (S.F.). Known for their superb way of storytelling off the beaten track, the two shone on collaborations with renowned producers such as Rustie, Robot Koch, Dimlite or Fulgeance. Over the simple, yet precise and powerful instrumental of Illuminate, a track which truly has the potential to become a modern anthem to hedonism, they hail to the
party-lifestyle and all the consequences that come with it.

On the flipside, DJ Kompact reminisces about his first release De Fruucht with this heavily jazz influenced remix of Don’t Follow, which was released in 2006. Keeping the arrangement, drum sounds and wordsamples as they were, the remix has a more complex touch to it as far as useage of samples goes. A contrabass bassline accompanies the listener throughout the track combined with smooth sax and reverse guitar samples on top of a somewhat melancholic trumpet pad. This sound collage ranges somewhere between the style of mid-ninties dope beats, Fat Jon and RJD2, always keeping a unique and unmistakable Kompact flavor - a track for leaders, as the title already suggests.
