THAIMAN aka trademark aka mic thaisn

As one of Austria´s dopest MC´s, Thai definitly paid his dues, constantly touring clubs and organising jams all over the country for the last couple of years. Thai is a founding member of austrian hiphop-collective DNK-Movement based in Salzburg. He dropped his tight debut-LP "Der Einzug" in 2006. 10 Tracks full of clever wordplay, very personal storytelling and heavy beats with a jazz influence.

Since then he´s workin on different projects such as "Luxusthail" with Demolux scheduled to drop 2009 and touring and recording with SK Invitational Big Band with Flip (Texta). As we speak, he also started recording tunes with our very own DJ Kompact for his own next album plus the upcoming full-length Kompact album.

Today the Music World mourns the passing of Reggae-Legend
Alton Ellis, who died last night after a long struggle against the
effects of lymphatic cancer. His talent and influence was immense
and his loss will be felt by all who ever had the pleasure of his
company. A kind and modest man, he always had time for his
family, friends and fans, and his loss is more than a terrible blow
not only to jamaican music, but to the world at large!

recently i´ve read an article about the impact of the surveillance system in the UK. the amazing fact presented, was that when it comes to efficiency, the CCTV system, to put it in the words of Chief Inspector Mick Neville of the London Metropolitan police, is a total fiasco and a waste of public monies.

Dälek's music is dark, noisy and atmospheric, equally inspired by industrial music like Einstürzende Neubauten, the layered noise of My Bloody Valentine and the dense sound collages of Public Enemy. Their sound is often constructed through sampling and a musical base atypical of most hip-hop, making it difficult for people to classify their sound. They have often toured with artists from radically different genres, such as Godflesh, Isis, Prince Paul, The Melvins, De La Soul, and Lovage.

[SLIK] Das gemeinsame Interesse an der Zerlegung in Real - und Kunstkörper und die daraus entstehenden Konflikte von ästhetischer Empfindung und Umsetzbarkeit sind Kommunikationsfläche und Reibungspunkt der künstlerischen Herangehensweisein der Zusammenarbeit von Tänzerin Silke Grabinger und Choreograph Roderich Madl für ihr gemeinsames Stück [SLIK]. Ansatzpunkt der tänzerischen Bewegung ist das Aufeinandertreffen zweier sehr gegensätzlicher Pole: eine verinnerlichte Form zeitgenössischer Bewegungssprache trifft bei [SLIK] auf eine offensive und nach außen gerichtete Form des „Streetstyle“ und „Breakdance“. Die daraus entstehenden komplementären Ausdrucksformen weichen die klaren Trennlinien der einzelnen Genres auf und stellen deren Einteilungen im Kopf auf den Kopf.
