i'm proud to announce, that i will graduate this week and that my diploma which includes an exhibition of my work "la disparation - le mur d'atlantique autour de Cap Ferret" - a project i'm workin on for at least 3 years now - will be shown in its "full range" on november 28th and 29th @ academy of fine arts vienna, lehárgasse 6-8, 1060. i will be there from 1pm till 7pm to answer questions and i would be glad to see the one or other. don't miss this. i will serve espresso :) all the best and thumbs up, lens

buddy BUSK talking about his work that - if you don't know, although you see it "writen" everywhere - includes graffiti, streetart and typography ... find the interview on lettercult.com and if you dont know them yet, go to my artist section to find the one or other shortfilm featuring BUSK ... the "view video" button is on the upper left side. and there is one more thing you should not miss. the "Busk-Cmod-Gasse" Vienna. Sad government officials removed this great art in public space. maybe my grandma did get confused by the sudden appearance of a new streetname. anyhow: great project! have fun. spread the word!

untitled_in_case_no_05_2 (their past is our future) by lens (kemoka sound version) is goin to be screened at Film:riss Student Film Festival Salzburg November 12th at 7:30 pm (panorama - category "docu") ... for more information please go to the festival website filmriss.at, the festival lasts from 10th to 15th of november. see you there.

"the fact that i was out there in this special night was determining the whole athmosphere of the sound. i didn't think a minute about how the feeling should be. it had to bee windy, mysterious and very dark. so i performed a jazzballad and cutted it into little pieces, like the pictures in the movie. a few windy sounds and some weird, cutted beats later my soundversion for untitled_in_case_no_05 was born." i'm sorry for you english speaking folks out there, but i dont think that there is an english translation of the books of Daniel Goeudevert. actually i read his second book "mit träumen beginnt die realität" (with dreams reality begins) back in 2000 and i must say - it already changed my view on a lot of things back then. anyhow; why i write this post: he just recently published his 6th book called "DAS SEEROSENPRINZIP - wie die gier uns ruiniert" (the water-lillies principle - how greed ruines us). its about economy, capitalism, ... ; how it works and where it will end. water-lillies take so much nutriens from their environment, that everything around them dies - until they die themselves. a very beautiful metaphoric to what he's talking about in the book. the economic world. before he started writing books daniel goeudevert was a manager and executive in some big automobile companies like Ford, VW, Citroen, ... and he was - already back then at the beginning of the 90ties - a very innovative man concerning the developement of eco-friendly vehicles and so on. that's why he had to leave VW in 1993 because of his conservative thinking collegues in the company and because what he wanted could not be turned over. among writing interesting books and giving interesting lectures, he is vice president of the EFI (Europe Finance et Industrie) and a mentor of the UNESCO. i love this guy. read his books. i dont want to link to amazon; decide by yourself, why you wanna buy this book. go to your local dealer!

i lately received a link to jazzmen's straight outta the box "a tribute to portishead" mix. so all of you out there running out of good music and goin for portishead and "trip hop" beats, grab yourself this nice selected mix. also check out jazzmen's website. he's actually a hiphop producer and mc from germany, who released his first album last year. rotaug was included by doing the album-cover for "endstation". you will find everything you need on his website. digg it!

i know - in times of the world wide web musical supplies never dry up. nevertheless i did put a little something together for you and me (i dont have to go to the turntable that often to flip the sides and change the plates then) again. mainly goin back to the 90ties roots in part one - comin to little bit of 2007/08 triphop in part two. worst come to worst! my people come first! have fun and c ya soon out there.
