i'm proud to announce that my work "Disappearance - The Atlantic Wall around Cap Ferret" will be shown at this International Atlantikwall Expert Meeting in Amersfoort (NL) on September 2nd and 3rd. The meeting is supported by the War Heritage Programme of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, National Office for Cultural Heritage, the Province of Zeeland, and in collaboration with Bureau Lopende Zaken and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. It is taking place in the Dutch State Service for Cultural Heritage. Work of different architects and artists concerning the Atlantic Wall or more generally concerning bunkers will be shown. Contributors and visitors of the symposium can refer to the work during lectures or discussions. "It is great to have your work as a visual and auditive comment on the concrete bunkers in the smallest and cultural heritage in the broadest sence ..."

"The sound of the muezzin’s voice calling the faithful to their morning prayers awakens the 11 million inhabitants of Istanbul every day. Despite the fact that many muezzins have been replaced by CD players and speakers mounted atop minarets, there is still great interest in the profession. Each year, Turkey hosts a competition for the best muezzin. Here, we follow it from two perspectives: Habil Ondes, one of the competition judges and a specialist in the call to prayer plus the competition between his two students, Halit Aslan and Isa Aydin, who are trying to advance to the prestigious Pan-Turkish finals."
