As our beloved Morisson Club was raided by the viennese Magistrat last weekend (yes, the infamous MA2412 shut them down, because their forgotten christmas decoration blocked the emergency exit and their christmas trees have not been recycled correctly...), they have to do some structural measures.

That´s why Mash Mash! V10 (January 29, 22:00) will go down at the

Morisson Exil at Volksgarten Pavillon, 1010 Wien!

News from the "Global Platoon" Front ...

Brand new joint from one of my most favourite Indie HipHop Groups called "Global Platoon" from Baltimore (Sparrow The Movement, Constant Deviants, Rome affiliated). First off their new joint "Mighty Global" feat. M.I, Steve Colossal and Rome - a beautiful melancholic-apocalyptic crate with three great features over a deep, nice and catchy instrumental based on a "The Sylvers" sample. "Who cares what i say, it's the media wordplay."

After that my - also due to the lyrics - so far personal "Global Platoon" fav "Crew Family" that you might know from one of my mixtapes anyway. But in consideration of the fact, that several years are in between those releases i wanted to post both to show the difference ... "I do for you, you do for me; we do for we - crew family" - seems like the crew stuck together or found back together again - i don't know - but they're bringing some news and archived material aswell and i'm diggin it!

A friend of ours aka mr jazzmen from germany has some nice "little" project called YOUSPOTS going on. For the last few months he and some friends has been working on this website that enables you to share and find spots, runs and locations for all sorts of (extreme)sports, ... The site just recently launched and now it's time to share spots and extend the database to build a community and a world wide web of extreme sports locations, meet-ups etc. ... enjoy.

... a.k.a. Brooklyn and wishing everyone a most creative 2011. I almost got lost in the still seemingly endless grounds of surprisingly cheap black gold, but I made it back and took a few gems with me. January 29, 2011. Morisson Club Vienna. Mash Mash! Edition 10. Our galleon "Mash Mash!" is sailing into 2011. A new year, a lot of adventures to come, a lot of treasures to hunt. To start things off, we invited two viennese DJs, that we loved playing with in the last couple of years.

For your listening and dancing pleasure, el capitano Exidas is proud to welcome D.Schaerf (Beatbureau) and Worst Messiah aka DJ Wisdom (Blue Flowers) on board of the "MashMash!". Also on the cruise, Thaiman, as your host of the night plus the landlubbers Gandl & Clrcdd, who will provide the island wallpaper visuals. Later on Lens J. and Kompact might take over the steering wheel for a chune or two.

So, all you buccaneers come on board, and tread yerself with a grog or two, as we plunder and loot our way through the deep waters of dope music. Arrrrr...

Glasgow-based "Scotch Bonnet Records" is slowly but surely becoming one of my favourite dub labels. With every single release they step it up another notch and when they join forces with upcoming french singer Pupa Jim it has to be a sureshot.

Release called Tayo meets Acid Rockers ft. PupaJim - “Vampayaa”. This true beauty of a modern steppers tune with remixes by RSD, MARCUS VISIONARY & STARKEY is out on 12inch and digital since late 2010.
