As I recently picked up a 12 Inch called "Take It Back" by a crew who call themselves "Drum Brothers", I dug a little deeper into research and found out that they hail from france and are signed on KIF Records, which also holds artists such as Jazz Liberatorz, Birdy Nam Nam and the like...
On this particular release Drum Brothers joined forces with DJ Green of Hocus Pocus and Atom of C2C just to name a few. Pure true school hiphop, heavily jazz influenced and definitely club compatible, they rip it up on their first 4 track 12" with another one to follow soon. A skateboardmovie outta Salzburg. Actually it's the first real one...after years of collecting tapes and 3 months of editing and postproduction, it's finally done! More than 1 hour of wicked skate footage! 20 teamriders of the
4 SEASONS CREW and about 60 guestriders from different generations are showing their boardskills on the streets of Europe!
Starring Philipp Capentari, Srdjan Kuzmanovic, Fabian Herneth, Alex Pasch, Max Merth, Helmut Dschulnigg, Philipp Josephu, Manuel Paulus and Mario Böhm.
I did the title animations and helped my friend Mario with words and deeds. Check out my latest project

Dälek's music is dark, noisy and atmospheric, equally inspired by industrial music like Einstürzende Neubauten, the layered noise of My Bloody Valentine and the dense sound collages of Public Enemy. Their sound is often constructed through sampling and a musical base atypical of most hip-hop, making it difficult for people to classify their sound. They have often toured with artists from radically different genres, such as Godflesh, Isis, Prince Paul, The Melvins, De La Soul, and Lovage.

after the "rumble in the park" skatecontest took place for the 5th time (pics coming soon) we were celebrated another epic event with a whole bunch of great and lovely people from all over austria. the afterparty at the 5boro Nadler Hall was (once again) THE BOMB. about 200 people "party hardy". all ended up with a guy trying to climb the 5boro nadler shops front. actually he was falling down with the E-letter making Nadler a Nadl_r. anyway: this year we had no "5 meter high fires" spitting - makin nadler's mum crazy - luki in the garden. link to pix-section
