GMUNDEN. Ihrem Kater verdankt ein junges Pärchen aus Gmunden, dass es noch lebt. Kater Edwin miaute so laut, dass sich die beiden noch rechtzeitig aus ihrer brennenden Wohnung in Sicherheit bringen konnten.

"Als wir gestern früh zu dem Wohnhaus kamen, war es bereits stark verqualmt", sagt Hubert Kürner, Kommandant der FF Gmunden. Die Feuerwehrleute brachten die Bewohner in Sicherheit. Unter ihnen auch ein junges Pärchen.

"Wir haben sie gefragt, ob sie wissen, wo es genau brennt? Doch sie konnten uns keine Auskunft geben. Sie waren ziemlich verwirrt", so Kürner. Wenig später fand das geschockte Pärchen (beide sind 23 Jahre alt) wieder Worte.

In ihrer Wohnung war ein Brand ausgebrochen. Die beiden schliefen aber so tief und fest, dass sie davon nichts mitbekamen. Doch ihr Kater Edwin miaute so lange, bis die beiden munter wurden. Edwin wurde zum Lebensretter. Wenig später brannte es in der Wohnung lichterloh. "Sie hatten Glück, dass sie mit dem Leben davongekommen sind", sagt Feuerwehrkommandant Kürner.

Auch das Stiegenhaus des zweistöckigen Hauses war stark verraucht. Sieben Personen mussten von der Feuerwehr aus dem Mehrfamilienhaus evakuiert werden. Drei Personen - darunter das junge Pärchen - kamen mit Verdacht auf Rauchgasvergiftung ins Krankenhaus.

Kater Edwin überstand den Brand unverletzt und ist wohlauf.

a mixtape based on a 40 minute long composition of william basinski - called 'disintegration loop IV'. with the swelling disintegration loop, live recorded soundsamples like rain, traffic, helicopters, ... and beats of g-pal and dub taylor, i tried to create a kind of narrative moment that should somehow represent the different and particular dreamsequences of man.

this one will need some time, i hope you'll have a good one with it ...
